The “Vietnam Logistics Forum 2020” was organized grandly and many new faces attended. Organizing the forum in the context of implementing and signing the new generation free trade agreements CPTPP, EVFTA, RCEP requires businesses to make efforts to improve their competitiveness. Meanwhile, the issue of logistics costs has been raised for many years but is still a bottleneck.

The forum was attended by Hanoi Party Secretary Vuong Dinh Hue, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, along with leaders of the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Finance, World Bank in Vietnam, Australian Embassy and many representatives of state management agencies, associations, enterprises, and logistics training institutions.

On November 26 alone, it attracted the participation of more than 50 international organizations, representatives of ministries, departments, and more than 500 businesses operating in the fields of logistics, production, and import and export.

Secretary of the City Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue speaks

Speaking at the Forum, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his honor that Hanoi was chosen for the second time as the locality to host the Logistics Forum. This is also an activity to implement the program of coordination between the Hanoi Party Committee and the Party Committee of Industry and Trade, between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Hanoi People's Committee.
